Cloisters Goes Dark for Earth Hour

Since 2007, Earth Hour has been embraced by businesses and the community worldwide. Over 7,000 cities and 180 countries are now part of this global conservation movement.

An initiative of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Earth Hour asks everyone involved to #SwitchOff for 60 minutes as a symbolic gesture of solidarity to show they care about our planet.

This year, Earth Hour was held on Saturday 28 March 2020, at 8.30pm. Cloisters got involved as part of the #switchoffchallenge and went dark along with many other Perth businesses. Over 95% of the complex went dark, with only common area and car park lighting remaining active for security purposes.
